Registering or transfering ownership
Hi I am going to be gifting my nephew with my CNC SHark HD Pro for Christmas. I was wondering what I would need to do to transfer the control panel software over to him. He will be putting this onto his own laptop/computer to use in his workshop. It is the old version 1.5 control panel. I also need ...

Re: Processor for 3d printing
Thank you for the reply. I am able to control the head temp, bed and extruder through a different controller. What I am looking to do is simply control the path and motion using the existing controller for the shark. EG... I need to know what to output Cura files as regarding the Gcode. This Gcode f...

Processor for 3d printing
How would one go about creating tool path for using the HD for 3d printing ? I am going to mount a 3d filament extruder to my HD Shark. This extruder is controlled with my own separate control software (I can control extrusion speed, heat of the heads and the heat of the bed with my software) If I s...

Re: Z- stuck
Temporary (also known to men as permanent) fix for Z. see attached image Baffle made from paper temporary blinds (sold at big box hardware stores.. $5) attached w/double sides adhesive tape. I will probably make a set of these baffles for the remaining travel zones. I'm still working out the fold & ...

Z- stuck
I am running a lot of 2 inch thickness Styrofoam at full speed. My Shark is enclosed, with a large intake for dust collector, with inlet slots for air flow across the surface. The Styrofoam is creating a lot of dust. I occasionally open the main door to the enclosure and blow air witht he air-line t...

Re: setting Speed
Yeah,... I read through most everything (I think). I was hoping I maybe missed something to gain more speed. Maybe someone has a g-code work-around (shrug) Read through your skull post,... thank you for the info and link. (cool stuff) What did you paint your styrofoam with ? I'm just curious. What I...

setting Speed
I'm running a bunch of styrofoam at the machine and wondering if I can increase my cutting speeds. The files are primarily 3d and created with Cut3d. Right now I am running a mix of 2 and 4 flute ball nose cutters. In the control panel I have FRO set at 100 and speed to fastest. I've not really chan...

Edit G-code-- tap file-- feed rate
Is it possible to edit the code to change the feed rate for a specific axis only? In the TAP file; The " F100.0 " command tells the machine to run at full feed rate. " F30.0 " would be only 30% feed rate. This tag line is responsible for all 3 axis'' feed speed at the same time. How would one be abl...
