Re: Grapefruit League: Ultimate Variation

It's a bot. Completely automated to post junk and include links to their sites. Even if users don't read or click, they're hoping that Google sees enough forums pointing to their sites that Google will think people are talking about these sites and bump them up in the search rankings. The best you c...

Re: depth of cut

I would do 1/4" cuts per layer, but that probably pretty conservative compared to what most people would use for pine.

Re: Need some assistance

I was using a dust collection system that you guys sell First thing to clear up: We don't work for anything related to CNC. We're all fellow hobbyists, just like you. If you run the same sequence again, do they come out deformed in an identical manner? Or is the deformation different each time? I'm...

Re: Need some assistance

Josh, can you post those pictures to the forum? It would help a lot.

"Not coming out right" doesn't give us a lot to go on. What's wrong with them? If you run the same sequence again, do they come out deformed in an identical manner? Or is the deformation different each time?

Re: Question about Shark SD110

Absolutely. As long as you keep alignment, it works great. In fact, VCarve even supports feeding your workpieces through like that.

Re: HD4 Pendant Frozen

I'm glad I missed the bullet on that one. Sure, it's a little annoying to dedicate a cheap computer to the CNC, but the only problems I every see with this setup on the forum is when the USB cable is bad. Pendants seem to have all sorts of problems.

Re: HD4 Pendant Frozen

Not only do the pendants seem to have issues, most longtime users on the forum have the control box USB solution, so it's harder to get group answers on pendants.
