Lithophane for my nephews. Box is made from 1/2 MDF. Blue is their favorite color and they love this old dog.

First attempt at a 3d plaque. Made from oak files from vectorart 3d. Finished with poly and a little dry brushing to try and bring out some of the details.

Thanks for the tips guys. Hadn't thought of the offset or using a V bit to line up with. Tried using the offset method and it worked fine. Still trying to learn how to do stuff with the shark. I even tried tiling this weekend and it worked out pretty well.

When setting the x&y 0 points should I be using the center of the bit or the outer edge for best results?

Made this little night light for my niece. She really liked even with my error of getting it a little off center.

This one turned out better. Ended up the thin in places due to me messing up in the beginning. Think I will keep it anyway. They say the third time is the charm, so will try again tomorrow.
