laser attachment

I recently bought the laser and all needed accessories to convert my controller. I tried running a test path and nothing happened except the Z axis went up and down . The controller just went back to the run screen after the router went up in down in the Z axis and the laser did not come on. I am ru...

Thanks 4D will take a look at it and give it another go.
Can you do this on lithophanes that were created in photo vcarve and imported into vcarve 8 ?

Hope this what you were wanting?

1/4" ball nose 50 ipm roughing tp
1/8" tapered ball nose 25 ipm finish tp
1/4" end mill 50 ipm used for profile cut out
9/16" 90 degree v-bit 100 ipm used for lettering and chamfer

Thanks Roger. Will try and figure out how to post the crv file. May take me a day or so as I am working 12 hour shifts at night. The feed rate was 100 ipm or less I'm pretty sure 1/4" ball nose for the rough tool path and 1/8" tapered ball nose for the finish tool path feed rate was 50 ipm I belive....

any ideas on how to fix this

When doing the plaque for my niece and on the lithophanes I have done I have this issue around the edges.

The bit cuts into the sides on each pass. On the plaque alot of sanding took care of it. Is there anyway to stop this from happening or clean it up with the shark?
