Virtual Setup - Runs past top
When running virtual set-up on a simple six circle cut, the software drives the router assembly past the highest allowable point and I must use E-Stop to abort the program. The file runs fine, if I just detect the touch plate and bypass virtual set-up. I bought the shark CNC in 2016 and have confirm...

Re: Beach Scene in Cherry
Nicely done. Creating the model must have been rewarding in itself. How many models have you created?

Viking Mug
Here is a viking mug I made for game nights, renaissance festivals, octoberfests, etc. I bought the viking face model on Etsy. * A series of 10 rings were cut, pinned and glued together to create the mug. The bottom ring has a lip to prevent the tumbler from sliding through. * The mug handle resembl...

Re: Touchplate Not Working
Late response but it may help someone searching the forum to resolve a similar problem. I encountered the same problem and contacted NextWave, Russ' answer follows below: "It's possible that the cable wire broke a connection. If you have a volt/ohm meter the two parts of the headphone jack should ha...

Re: Touch Plate Quit working
Russ from NextWave got back to me and said the cable wire might have broke a connection. He suggested using a volt/ohm meter to see if it had continuity, which it did not. Upon closer inspection I did see where the wire had a break in it. I spliced it back together and it is working again.

Touch Plate Quit working
Running a CNC Shark 2.0 In the middle of a job, after a bit change the touch plate quit working. The machine attempts to push the bit through the touch pad when I ask it to detect the touch pad. I have ensured that plugs on both the touch plate and controller are firmly in place. I have also power c...

Snowman ornament for the guys
I just recently upgraded from VCarve to Aspire. This is the first model I made from scratch. It is for a family Christmas gift exchange. The adults try to come up with fun gifts for $10 or less. Many times they are home made or modified store bought gifts. This one is for the guys. snowman painted.j...
