Re: Big Sign

Billk, Which bit(s) did you use on this project ? Here's a 18" x 60" sign I made using my Shark Pro Plus and tiling and Aspire. This was made for my Niece and her husband who own this CrossFit. The hardest part was the model of the "O". The back was tiled. The letters were cut out of Azek and epoxie...

Re: Holes?

Thank you everyone.
It was a bit issue.
Used a 1/4" ball nose bit and sent the correct decimal for the mm size and it cut great.
I also order me a forester drill bit at the correct mm.

Thank you all again.

Holes?

Hi all,

I need help please.
I'm trying to cut a hole for a bearing to go in wood.
The bearing is 55/64
I'm using a 1/16 tapered ball nose bit.
The problem is hole is still being cut too big even when I tell it to cut on the inside.
What am I doing wrong?

Things to make that really sell?

Hi All,
Please post your items and items of things you have made that really sell.
I mean... What have you made that you have attracted to that really sells?
What are somethings that just fly off the shelf as fast as you can make it?

Thank you in advance.

Re: CNC and clock building

Glad you asked! I tend to side heavily on using Clayton Boyer's designs as I have never had one that, with persistence, failed. It's my understanding that not all Internet plans actually work yet every one of his I have built functions extremely well ( and I've built a bunch ) :). A great staring p...

Re: CNC and clock building

Very easy. For me, at the beginning of any of them they all seem complex, but as you begin to work on them it just seems they eventually all make sense and come together easily. Hope you decide to build one, and if you do, we're here to help :) Which plan do you suggest I start out with first? Also...

Re: CNC and clock building

One of these days I'm going to try a clock project.
Are the plans easy to follow?
