Re: Maintenance issue to watch for regarding the T-nuts
Hello Larry! Read your post a couple of days ago and it found my problem. My machine made a chattering noise on the Y plus every time it used that direction, this could be heard and felt in the Y axis motor but as yet had not become visible in the carving. I did as you did, disassembled the Y axis s...

Shark controller
 You have helped me so much in the past I thought you might be able to answer a couple of questions for me. I will be going out to my Shark Pro next week for the first time since last Sept and I think I have forgotten more than I knew. I have the 1.4 version of the controller soft ware install...

A couple more projects
These are a couple more finished projects, the Passenger Car and the Baggage car,(also a Caboose) all flat parts drawn out in VCarve 5 then cut on my machine. The accuracy is uncanny, I could not duplicate the 20 windows with the accruacy of the Shark Pro. Of course the time to carve far surpasses m...

1st projects
These were the first things done on our Shark Pro before I got sick, the yard sign, then the Logo, all of the flat pieces of the truck were cut out on the machine I'm going to try to figure out how to cut the fenders in one piece after I get better. BTW I wont lie about it, I buy the wheels and head...

Re: Load error
Sorry I missed most of the start of this thread due to illness but I am sure thankful for it. Just before I got sick I was going to push the automatic update button on the scan panel but something told me not to do it. GOOD!! Im running Version 8 on Windows 7 and have had no problems with errors alt...

Re: Control Question
Thanks for that Alan, Next question, is it possible to make the slow control even slower. Like when jogging Z down to work surface, to set Z zero. Zac. Not to my knowledge, slow is darn slow and I put a sheet of copy paper between the bit and work, run the bit down close then goto slow and with qui...

Re: Control Question
Several users have spoken about using the arrows etc. on the numeric keypad to control X Y Z . How do you set this up? Zac. Zac, Wnen you load the Shark Control Pad click the mouse on JOG, Turn OFF the number lock key pad key, (listed as NUM LOCK on most ) then you can use 8 and 2 for Y axis, 4 and...

Re: Control Question
Bob, Thanks for the answer, I'll be moving my master switch closer to the computer for easy access. I thought I had read not to cut the power to the machine when the controller was running but that was when I was deciding what to buy. I do know to shut down the Code before turning it back on. I foun...
