Re: Sign carving question
Usually it depends on how large the sign is, and the letters to be carved, and also, what material I'm carving. For letters less than 2 inches, I find I need to use a fairly blocky san-serif font that doesn't have small curls that the bit won't fit into. Even so, I end up doing those letters with a ...

Re: How Do I Fix Table Droop?
Has anyone attempted to create a software "shim" in aspire to correct for the uneveness in the table? I like the aluminum angle fix, and I'll do that for sure, but as a quick fix, I am going to use a 3d "topo" model to mirror the uneveness of my tapletop in Aspire, then just "project toolpath onto 3...

Re: Blue Light not working control panel
When I first received my shark, the relay to control the outlet on the controller box was not working, and NWA sent me another one overnight and walked me through installing it. You may be having the same problem with that issue. I'm not sure if the blue light is related.

Re: Sourcing plastic sign sheeting
I've gotten good price quotes from Total Plastics, Inc. out of Tampa FL. for 1/4" stock, you can get 1 sheet (4' x 8') for $98.50, or 5 sheets for $88.60 each. Shipping to my address in Louisiana is $95 for up to 9 sheets (up to 500lbs), and for an extra $10 per order, they'll pre-cut the stock down...

Re: Machine hovers above work piece
Nortman,
You say you jogged the machine to zero, then ran the program. Did you remember to zero out the XYZ after you moved the router to the proper origin point? You should click the XYZ0 button to zero out the axes.
Hope this helps!
