Vcarve and Aspire are both world class products and I think you would be hard put to do better even at much higer prices. Vcarve will do most anything in the 2 or 2.5 cut world. You might want to search the topic. Many of us with smaller CNCs have given it a thought. You might fine that shows have a restriction on the noise and power can be an issue as well. Longer shows or fairs might provide you a better opportunity, especially if it has an indoor facility to work from. I...

The white sharks were are pretty good machines. They suffered from a slight sag and flex in the middle of the table (so do some of the new ones) but that can be leaved out by surfacing the sacrifice board. I've attend several and can say, 'It is worth the money and the time", I learned more during the first coffee break, than a month of Sundays chewing up wood in the shop.

Glue and pin nails or screws. I usually use a triangle (glue and pin nails) on the back to give it a tilt. Although now days, many go on the carpet wall panel.
I use a small block and drill a hole and use a paperclip bent to form a hook or use hook and loop.
