Re: Format Mystery Series

Hi Ken, Thanks for your reply. I called the shark support number, and emailed them. Talked to Jim on the phone. He told me, then emailed me saying that formatting was neither required nor recommended. Other info from the forum tells me, yes, I need to format, and tells me what to do to SD format cor...

Format Mystery Series

The enigma behind "Formatting Your SD Card" continues to remain a mystery. I have yet to get a cogent reply to my questions of "Is formatting necessary?"; if so, then "What is the proper procedure?", and "Why is it necessary?"; if not, then why is there so much discussion about the Formatting Thing?...

Re: Shark Store

My suggestion is to add instruction manuals (as in "book") to your inventory of things for sale. These would be top sellers for Shark systems, especially if the manuals had a "Trouble-Shooting" section. Also, with complete instruction manuals for each system, the nextwave/support department and the ...

formatting SD card

I formatted my SD card by inserting it into my computer, following the guidance given by another forum user (www.cncsharktalk.com/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=773). I have since talked on the phone to Jim at the 4520 number. Jim started telling me that this was not the proper way to format SD cards, and then...

Thanks, Ken,
I've tried all my ports, but I'll try again. Hopefully, I may have missed one.

Basic Panel

I had my computer cleaned and de-loused last week, but now I can't get the Basic Panel to operate. I made the standard 2 uploads, plus the microsoft framework 3.5, but when I try to open the B.Panel, I get the message: "failed to start because winusb.dII was not found", after several tries at the up...

Vectorus Correctorus!

Just got my computer back from the shop, and my system works perfectly now. The repairman removed and replaced various components, and cleaned out all the dust , so I'm ready to work again. Just wanted you to know. Good day t'ya, and store this in your memory bank. Mojave Mike

Appreciation of Forum Member Help

Joe,ol' boy, Just like to say thanks. You don't find a caballero every day who's willing to spend an hour over the phone trying to put together a solution to somebody else's problem without getting paid for it, and I just wanted to say a public "thank you". Before I talked to you, I thought surely y...

Re: Flamin' Vectorials!

Thanks, Joe. I have changed the feedrate to 50. I've changed to 60, and 70 and 80, and hit "apply", but the rate remains set at 7.5. I'm beginning to think there's something amiss with my system. I've checked and rechecked all connections, but the 7.5 will not change. I'm open to suggestion. Have a ...
