Thanks for sharing.
Thanks,
But, keep the boss happy. When the boss is happy, everyone's happy.

cdat wrote:3 thumbs up! I luv the floor to ceiling stuff. My wife/boss hates it so I'm stuck with dust collecting tops.
Thanks,
I hate to waste any space. One of my first projects was a stool so that my wife could reach all of the high places in her kitchen too.

Thanks Tony
That's a good thing, since we both know who controls our tool budgets.

A different story...The Corner Cabinets

Well, let's see the corner cabinets then......

Well cdat,

The only connection this project has to the Shark is the recess cut out of each shelf for the glass.
...and the glass, it was cut using a friend's cnc water jet.

Re: Thimble cabinet

tonydude wrote:That's nice work. How long did it take to make?
Thank you,
It took about a week to make. It's fun to be retired, I can take as much time as I want to make a project.
The corner cabinets took nearly three months, but that's a different story.

Thimble cabinet

This is a cabinet I made for my wife's thimble collection. All curved parts and the engraving were done with the Shark.

cdat wrote:Well, if that is something that you don't know what you're doing then I can't wait to see your good stuff. You have good taste when slecting the wood. You got the grain to match the picture. That takes talent.
Thanks,
I used the SWAG method for that.

Praying Hands carving

I tried this as an experiment with cropping a 3D model while not knowing what I'm doing. I wanted to make it look like a carving my dad made 56 years ago. These will make good gifts for the relatives.
