Re: Tail vice front board
A little outside the CNC realm but thought I'd post on the assembly details here in case anyone wants to try one of these. So this is the backside and you can see its from laminated block of maple. There is a hole at the end for the screw to come though and then the space for it to travel. The green...

Re: Tail vice front board
Slowly getting this done in between my travels. I wanted to show how I cut the pins into the end of the chop for this project. So here is my set up on my Shark Pro Plus: chop2.jpg I then do a first cut just .1" deep so I can test fit. I also cut circles to indicate where I can drill out the majority...

You might want to PM Eagle55 or just view his work here :http://www.eaglecarver4.com/gallery#/headstones
Roger made these out of Corian I believe. He was/is a care taker at a Cemetery and a shark user. He replaced many missing markers with his Corian headstones.

Re: Plane box but not a plain box
Hi Bob!
The top was from firewood as I mentioned. I also made 2 spoons and a spatula from it. The front was from a board about 7/8” thick by 6” wide and 10’ Long that I paid $10 for. So there will be a few more projects with that wood.
