Re: Z Axis Issues
I don't understand all the folks that immediately believe the company in covering itself against liability concerns and go so negative Come on! Do you really think the company is covering itself against liability concerns? Their CNC Controller box is a joke! This is a Company since day one that has...

Re: Z Axis issues
I have tested the HD5 and recommend that the x and y axis be lubed every 30 hours. It can go longer in a dust free environment. Okay let us start with -
What software are you using to create your vectors for carving? Vectric's V-carve Pro or Desktop OR some other software?
If one of the above software packages is used then in Material Setup are you Z-zeroing to Material Surface or the Machine Bed/Spoilboard?

Re: Correct PP
You could try on a small program such as a circle, square, triangle the "CNCShark-USB_Arcs_inch.pp" for imperial or "CNCShark-USB_Arcs_mm.pp" to see how they perform. I own an Earlier Version CNC Shark HD3 HD Pro Extended bed. The above post processors have performed well on this version of machine....

Re: Topic for Forum Member Rando
AWESOME!!! I have had my Shark now 4+ years now. I have made many wood carvings on it and thoroughly enjoyed using it. You are so right that the Shark is not rigid and yes you cannot push the machine. But with the right adjustments/settings you can produce acceptable projects. When I was researching...
