Using CNC Shark Probe with Cut3D

I am new to the probe and am having a few issues that I am hoping someone can help me with. I can probe my object without any issues but when I go into Cut3D I am wondering how I eliminate the excess material around the object that I just scanned. Is there a way to do this or do I have to try and narrow my scanning area down to the T.

No, you can't edit the .stl file in Cut3D. You need Aspire to modify 3D files. You can change the size of the item but that is all. Aspire allows free adjustments.
