I am new to this and I know that I can buy designs but are there ways to make my own designs to carve? If so how would I go about this.?I know that I will have plenty more questions and thank you ahead of time for helping me out!

Hi John So as far as your own designs you could use your v-carvepro and your cut 3d to make all kinds of things.Have you ever used sketchup? If not its afree download and in the 3d whearhouse you can pick a model and transform it into a 3d model.(using cut 3d)There is alot of free 3d models on the net.Also free clipart.this should get you started. The unit comes with design software (VCarve Pro). And what you can't design you can import as bitmaps and trace them and go from there. If you heart is on 3 D then you'll need to buy Aspire or cut 3d and import models. There is tons of stuff, don't worry about it unless you have something special in mind.
