Hello Andy

The small coupler screws coming loose are a known issue with the sharks.
You may want to consider using cap screws in the couplers instead of set screws, as they allow the use of a larger wrench and you can get them tighter. I belive NWA may now be selling them as parts as well.

thread lock will also help.

For best results, the leadscrew should have a flat on it like the motor does. if it does not, putting a flat on it with a file or grinder will help also.

Thank you for the question. I found this string when searching Google for "Why are my circles not round when cutting on my shark".
I took my coupler apart after finding the screw slipped in it. I found that my screw had a .250" round bottom hole in it. The set screw was sliding back and forth in the hole. The set screw measured .190". I built a brass button that I press fit into the .250" hole. The button has a .1875" hole most of the way through. I hope this works. I used Locktight on the screw.
