Invalid Pointer Operation

Hello,
I had to disconnect my laptop from the Shark & take the laptop to work for a few days.
When returning it to the garage to run the shark I get a message when loading G code...
“Invalid Pointer Operation”
When I close that, another window opens & that says...
“Error in FastDisplay, Error in ProcessFile. ‘V’ is not a valid floating point value”
I am clueless on how to fix this. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Crosetti:

When you say "open" the file, do you mean double-click on it, or use the standard file-open? Or are you transferring it via a USB flash drive/card?

Either way, it sounds like one of two things might be happening:

1) the data for the toolpath did indeed get overwritten / corrupted.
2) the chosen post-processor is no longer what the right one.

Check those, and indeed take a look (use notepad or similar text editor) to look in the .tap (GCODE) file and make sure it's normal looking.
If needed, compare it to one you know is working.

Hope that helps,

Rando

Duh! Can’t believe I forgot about the PP!!
I run a Camaster at work / shark at home ... I made this project for the Camaster but decided to cut it @ home.
So I changed the tooling / feeds for the Shark but totally forgot about the PP!
Major brain fart
Thanks
