Here is another project I created for Woodworker' Journal; a nice hardwood luggage tag.

Rob does not go into it, but I cut a thin 'window' of clear plastic to fit in the opening. The two parts are glued together, then the window and a business card slip into the opening at the top.
The strap that goes through the slot holds the tag to your luggage as well as holding the window and card.
You can also custom engrave the back face as well if you want.
Here's the one I made for my wife for Christmas. It is a touch fancier, but basically the same.
