cutting into table

i was wondering if someone could look at my crv file and tell me where i went wrong.
sometings come out ok and some seem to cut way to deep,i am asuming it is operator error LOL
it would be fine to email me
i only ran the pocket 5 file

It could be that your bit was slipping out of the collet as it cut. Spiral bits are notorious for taking advantage of being loose. Gravity will pull any bit down if loose. I teach furniture design, and often discover a bit wasn't tight enough in a collet after checking a student's router setup. When the college I work at got it's first CNC, several new users simply had no idea how tight the bits needed to be and we had several cases of them slipping out in use. At some point we got the specs and a torque wrench to put them in right, and have had no cases of bit slipping since.
