Aluminum Router Clamp Upgrade for HD3 worth the cost?

I have a Shark HD3 that I recently aquired. I see that Nextwave offers an aluminum router clamp upgrade for the HD3. Has anyone used this? Does it make a difference in your cuts and carvings? Is it worth the money? I would love to hear your thoughts. My cnc experience has been on ShopBot machines which are all steel and aluminum. This is my first experience with a Shark and mine is equipped with a Porter Cable router.
