I'm from Southeast Michigan, and it's NOT Detroit... Not that there's anything wrong with Detroit, but when you say Southeast Michigan, everyone assumes it's Detroit.

I plan on purchasing an HD500 in July, during the Free 2W Laser promotion. I just picked up a Bosch 1617EVS 2.25 hp router to use in it. I already downloaded the VCarve Desktop trial software and played with it. So far, I'm able to import .DXF files from my TurboCAD Deluxe drafting software, which I already use in my work. That should shorten the learning curve for me.

I hope to be joining in on conversations soon and be able to sound like I know what I'm talking about. LOL
