water cooled spindle

I have the water cooled spindle on my HD4 extended and like it but wish i could use larger spiral bits for the pocketing i do. I have considered buying a different one that has an er20 collect to accept 1/2" shanks. I assume the spindle with the er11 collect is supplied in order to use smaller bits for fine detailing. Since the spindle in independent of the CNC i know it will work but wondering if anyone else has tried this.

A 3 h.p. Spindle that will take 1/2" collets is 80mm in dia. You would probably need a new mount to hold it. Also the weight is more than the one you have.
You would also need a different VFD to run the larger sipndle.
