Spindle--3/4 or 1/2 shank?

Post by MrsEmPeel »

Does anyone know a way of fitting a 3/4" shank onto the water cooled spindle? Is there an adapter? Can you change out the piece that holds the collet? I just realized I can't even use a bit with a 1/2 inch shank. HELP!

Do you think a muscle chuck that would accommodate a 1/2" shaft would work in a 2 HP ER11 spindle?
