Non-Standard Router Adapters

Post by Elderoaklander »

My Shark SD100 (Barracuda) came with more than one adapter (I think, may have purchased extra). My question is this: Will NWA custom-cut an adapter for the Metabo 1808DA? My Bosch Colt works great, but there are times I would like to go cordless. Bosch makes a cordless handheld size router, but that's just what they mean, the design is ONLY for your hand, not as a spindle in a CNC machine. Just purchased the Metabo (cute little guy), but the motor diameter is a non-standard size (64.87mm). Going to try CNC milling one myself out of expanded PVC, taking the outside pattern from NWA adapters. Would much rather purchase one cut professionally from ABS plastic. Will call NWA sales on Monday, but thought some forum member could shed light. Thanks.

Cut one yourself.

The router plate outside dimensions and bolt placement are easy to determine, and you already know the shape of the router you want to use. just make sure the battery doesn't hit on anything as it goes up and down.
Get yourself some 3/4" thick HDPE and have at it :)
