I am using an old HP laptop my sister gave me. I only use it for VCarveDesktop. Because the machine was so slow I replaced the drive and added additional memory that the technician said I needed. I am currently trying to design and cut a plaque for a niece. I get to the Calculate on the Toolpaths side and am being stymied by a "not responding" next to the file name in the upper left corner of the screen. Is this caused by an inadequately configured desktop or am I missing something else? BTW I am using Windows 10.

I checked with Vectric and was advised the minimum requirements for a PC using VCarveDesktop. Mine didn't meet those specs. I only wish I knew that earlier..............
