Router Stops mid job

Post by haysja »

I have had my Shark SD120 for a few weeks now and have completed many projects without issues. Today, the router stopped three times mid tool path on tool paths that had been successfully completed in previous days. I was able to complete the job by re-running the tool path after bypassing the router relay switch and manually starting the router and dust collection.

I read that this could be an issue of interference between the power cables and the data cable.

Has anyone had a similar issue? Should I take stepd to separate the data cable from the power cable? Is there another explantion?

I would like to continue to use the router relay as it is far more convenient than manually starting the router.

TIA.

I had this happening in the beginning and had to change to a newer flashdrive for transferring files. That took care of the problem. Or at least it fixed itself During this changeover and I'm giving credit to the new flashdrive!
