3d digitizer question

I am trying to map out the base for a phonograph turntable to carve a new one. I need to go deeper than 3/4 inch below the surface. Is there a longer probe or an extender that will fit the probe unit. Or does anyone know the thread count on the probe so I search for a solution.

I do NOT have the 3D digitizer, that being said, I use those probes every day at work.

They come in a variety of sizes and lengths, and they also have extensions.

I do not know the specs that the Shark digitizer has, so I can't help you with the selction, but here is the Renishaw probe 'catalog'
