I just purchased a SHARK PRO PLUS. Received it last week.
After about 3 hours, including assembly and downloading the software, I cut my first project. Nothing fancy but I did cut something.
Is there any tips anyone can give me to help in setting-up or cutting.
THANKS

Hi,

The biggest tip I think is to go through all of the VCarve tutorials. It doesn't take a lot of time, but it is well worth it. And be sure to see if you can duplicate it without watching the video/reading the pdf before you move on. This is time well spent.

Perusing the forum here, as well as the Vectric forum is always helpful.

Some good topics of discussion have been:

Bitmap Import and Use - http://www.cncsharktalk.com/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=315

And in the end, working through the tutorials and then trying it out on your setup. CNC Shark Talk and Vectric Forums great reference and source of community support.

Enjoy!
