Old Shark, New Tricks
Here is what I call the Butterfly bowl, carved in Mahogany. Surrounded by woven ringlets and the outside edge is fully carved with a weave pattern. The size is 10 inches by 1.3 thick. It wasn't super simple, but it wasn't that complicated to do either. While you wait for a 4th axis, see what all you can do with just 3 and the great software.

Bill,
That's neat!
Now, how did you carve that edge?
Bob
...Must learn new trick. You caught me Hook Line and Thinker.

Re: Old Shark, New Tricks
Billk, that is really nice. How about a little info on the different areas, especially the putter edge?
Being retired is hard work. Spending way too much time in the shop these days. (And loving it).

Bill,
That really is a simple solution to an edge carving problem! Nice work!
That's thinking outside the box and over the edge.
Looks like my next project will be an edge carving adapter kit.
Thank you,
Bob
