home made Dino
Made this for the grandkids, (crumb crunchers). The wife showed more excitement than they did.
I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.

Don't remember what kind of plastic. (18" X 24") Purchased it for another project that got canceled years ago. Used an .125" ballnose bit. I was more or less experimenting, hoping for the best. It came out OK. Used this for a learning experience. Found the crv file on Vectric forum. Would I make another one? Probably easier and faster to trade off grandkids.

Re: home made Dino
Could you post or pm me the link? I have seen those at the store, but never seen a plastic one like that. Very unique!
Thanks

Re: home made Dino
If you do decied to machine this watch out, the one I machined did not have tabs to hold the parts. Also a couple places I had to hot glue the plastic to the sacrifice board to hold them in place while cutting. Goto the vectric forum and search free tap files. there are a lot of things there.

This model is enhanced with a lighted base. There are LED ones used for lighting crystals. I got a color changing one and it is really too awesome looking to see the Lexan glow in colors!

Re: home made Dino
I'm looking for design files to "borrow" or purchase as I'm just getting started and creating my own designs is taking forever. Where can I find crv or tap files?
Thanks
