Oak Marine clock with silent drill team

Post by basecircle »

Well I am back.Been awhile. My controller went out(I let the smoke out of the mother board)Job's backing up.Well were up and running,The whole project is made from Red Oak.I designed the clock and cut it using 1/4 ballnose. And finished it with 1/8 ballnose. Then did rest machining with a 1/16 ballnose .The picture of the Marine silent Drill team I did in aspire. You could use photovcarve. There was alot of sanding,I mean alot.A engraved brass plate for a friend that is retiring from the corps.30 years. It's 3 1/2 x10x18. I put 3 coats of water based poly satin.I hope you like it. Basecircle
