Hey do not knock it. It is a great start! And yes a dremel tool is very useful in any small woodworking project! As for finishing classes --- I believe a good magazine subscription would be much cheaper!

Thanks, about a month in and I'm really enjoying it. I haven't made the same mistake twice but boy howdy, I didn't realize how many different mistakes were possible. I'm making every one of them. Guess that's how you learn

Looks good , got to start some where. you did get the tool paths figured out. Yes- lots of stuff can go wrong and will. Good luck and welcome.
