deleting extra stuff in a bitmap

Post by msuedillon »

I have two questions- first how to delete the extra stuff in the bitmap.
I have a saying printed on a curve-- the letters are different depths? how can you make them all the same?
I have VCarve Desktop

Not quite sure what you mean by "extra stuff in the bitmap". If you've converted a bitmap to vectors, you can simply highlight and delete unwanted vectors.

If your letters are different depths, that's a toolpath problem. What type of toolpath are you using? If it's a vcarve V-bit path, then wider letters will have deeper paths.

This thread may provide some detailed assistance on your questions. It may actually be the same questions you're asking. http://cncsharktalk.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=5689
