CNC Shark HD4 Extended

Post by Snowman »

I'm looking for information on how to make a canoe paddle on the Shark CNC using Vcarve 9.5 Pro or Aspire 9.5. I would also like to custom engrave the paddle. Anyone having knowledge of how this could be accomplished, would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. I am new to the CNC world and have limited knowledge on both software packages.

Thanks to all helpful forum members for your assistance.

Watch as many video Tutorials as you can! I watched several hours of them before even attempting my very first very basic project. Start with several simple projects and work up to the paddle.

I'm a completely beginner to the scene, so my apologize in advance if this has been asked before. Can you recommend a list of youtube channels for learning?

Vectric has a variety of videos on their site. They are really quite good.

I can't help but also recommend the actual PDF manual on your hard drive. It's full of descriptions of all the great, hidden functions. Well worth the read, even if you only skim for the interesting parts.
