Tool Spped and depth of cut

Post by Cal Hunter »

We are in the process of buying a Shark II to cut shapes out of poplar. 1 project is 2.25" thick and the other is .5 inch thick. Does anyone have a table with "Material Type", "Depth of Cut",Tool Path Speed"

Cal,
Start with a search of this forum for, "feed and speed" This will link you to a lot of pertinent postings.
The Vectric software now calculates chip load too.
You may not find the exact answer you want, but this will get you a bunch of information.
