Basic Panel

Post by hitest4 »

I had my computer cleaned and de-loused last week, but now I can't get the Basic Panel to operate. I made the standard 2 uploads, plus the microsoft framework 3.5, but when I try to open the B.Panel, I get the message: "failed to start because winusb.dII was not found", after several tries at the upload. Has anyone else come across this problem? I'd sure like to know the whereabouts of this dang winusb.dII fugitive.

Thanks, Ken,
I've tried all my ports, but I'll try again. Hopefully, I may have missed one.

Hi Mike,

If I remember correctly, you had this working at one point, then took the computer it for some maintenance. If you have Norton 360 Anti-Virus installed, you may want to try disabling it and seeing if it works with the anti-virus disabled, or try re-installing in the sequence described in the documentation, and then seeing if it works.

Some other threads on this issue arehttp://www.cncsharktalk.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=742 and http://www.cncsharktalk.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=443

You could also go straight to Next Wave Automation support - 419-491-4520. They seem to be pretty helpful - and you paid for this when you made the purchase. Good luck.
