I’ve got an HD5 and the travel in the X axis comes up short. If I tell the machine to move 24” along the X axis it will come up approximately .030” short every time. It will return to zero with perfect accuracy. I’ve already replaced the lead screw nut, double checked all connections are tight at the motor, etc. I’m out of ideas, but this is a problem for my uses.
I’m not 100 percent sure the error is linear in nature, but I think it could be. It comes up about .015” short if I tell it to move only 12 inches.
Is there a way to adjust the steps per millimeter traveled in the Shark software?
I really need this solved, please help!
Thanks all!
