I installed the new control software and my x and y are reversed. MY x+ move the direction of x- and the same with the y how can I fix this? all cables are plugged in correctly.

We need to confirm we are both talking the same language.
Do you mean X being the gantry and Y being the base movement?
When standing in from of the machine is the motor (at the base) pointing toward you.
is the gantry motor on the left side?
this will make sure we are talking about the same setup.
