HDPE plate vs. aluminum

Post by Ron56 »

Hi Folks

Newbie here.
I read a post somewhere on here about the Shark Black Diamonds back plate.
It is the HDPE plate that the Z axis rails attach to.
Rockler had a aluminum replacement but now I can’t find it here or on Rockler.
I think it’s 3/8” by 7” by 36”.
While I’m at it I may as well ask about a router clamp for the Shark.
Can anyone tell me which clamp will work with a PORTER-CABLE 892.
The HDPE plate on the machine is fine just that you have to be careful not to flex it.
I thank you in advance for any helpful reply. Ron:
