Enjoyed this thread - I start tomorrow to copy your design.
Hope it's as successful as yours.
Have a great sawdust-making day.

Newbie here. I just built this one based on several of the ideas found in the forum. Perhaps you all can recommend improvements for the next tank builder.
Shark Pro Plus HD, Vcarve Pro 6.5, Probe, Touch Plate, Cut3D

Looks good! One thing I did was to buy the large size, like 1" diameter, cable keeper from Radio Shack and put all the wires in that. Makes the snakes neater.

PVC frame hung with plastic, similar to tub shower curtain design or inexpensive Greenhouse/storage closet.Huntermartin wrote:I will have to do that Billk. Thanks for the input! More ideas anyone?
Build a rectangle, any height it could surround the table completely, add the plastic. Even shower curtains cut to size work to contain the majority of dust.
You still have fine dust.
I suppose you could velcro tab a top or use nylon mesh, like panty hose material or filter material. Maybe even an old sheet.
Cheap, portable, and if you don't glue the PVC resizable.

You will need a Key Mapper program.Kevink18 wrote:How did you get xbox controler working would like to do this myself but have had no luck.
Search for "Joytokey" (free) or "Xpadder" ($10)
JoytoKey takes a bit more effort to set up because you need to know which button or pad on the controller is which.
Xpadder is a lot easier, but I don't think you can map the "Move to 0,0,0" function.
What you are doing is mapping a keyboard button to a button on the controller.
Here is what you can map according to the scene CNC Shark manual:
"The following keyboard buttons result in Jog Control Panel control button actions when the Jog
Control Panel is active:
• Page Up Z+
• Page Down Z-
• Arrow Up Y+
• Arrow Down Y-
• Right Arrow X+
• Left Arrow X-
• ‘+’ Numeric Keypad Increases the Step Increment
• ‘-‘ Numeric Keypad Decreases the Step Increment
• Home Key Numeric Keypad Moves up the jog speed list
• End Key Numeric Keypad Moves down the jog speed list
• ‘5’ Numeric Keypad Move to 0, 0, 0"
Note: The Xbox controller will only be active when you select the jog tab in the shark control software. Also, the "5 Numeric keypad" listed above is actually the "clear" key. I could not figure out how to map it in Xpadder.
