Drift in positive X direction

Post by advent111 »

I have just started seeing a drift(movement)in the positive X direction following or during a Z axis move. The issue showed up when I changed from using a 3 axis tab to a non 3 axis tab, although the problem may have existed and I just can't see it. At a guess, I thing I'm seeing a lead/lag timing problem with info sent to the motors. In any case the real question is how to correct the problem. The machine input data is correct, slowing the feed rate improves the issue but does not eliminate it. one other point, I don't see the problem if I don't use Tabs. As an example when machining a pocket there is NO X axis drift.
