HELP US CELEBRATE!!
MAKE THE CNC SHARK
COMMEMORATIVE CHESS SET

THIS MONTH'S PIECE - THE PIRANHA PAWN

Last Month Next Wave Automation launched plans for constructing the new official CNC Shark chess set. Each month we will feature a new chess piece. Included will be complete project files and complete directions. All pieces will be created using Vectrics new V9 double sided carving techniques allowing you to create our unique chess pieces without the need of a 4th axis or lathe.

DOUBLE SIDED MACHINING FIXTURE

We are also including instructions to build a double sided machining fixture which will greatly enhance any double sided machining projects you have now or in the future.

Greetings,

I am very excited about this project. I have a 4th axis on my machine. Does anybody have tap files for this project that can be used with the fourth axis?

Thanks,
Bob

Rick,
Yup, I'm making the set, then trying to learn how to play.

Bob; (not the other Bob, but the other other Bob)

Forth axis wrapping of this project really won't work. The Tail Fin and Teeth will not carve properly. If you'd like to try just export the file as and STL (under the model tab), Select Close with inverted fron from in the Back face Triangulation, then import as you would any other wrapped file..

Didn't work with edge but it did with Firefox. It is probably your browser not the link.
