yes i have been using it. the only issue i was having with the stock clamp, was with 1/2” acrylic. every once in a while i would experience some bit chatter. i just cut two sheets of 1/2” acrylic and experienced no chatter at all. not scientific as there are a lot of variables when dealing with spindle stability and bit chatter, but in my experience it seems to have worked. not sure it was worth $120 though.

If the unit is compatible, it's $899 + shipping. It includes the full replacement gantry carriages, all the way to the bearing blocks.
It also includes the necessary gantry plate (top) and gantry drive plate (under the bed) reinforcements, and all hardware. I even
include the drill bits and a printed, fully illustrated 50-page installation and alignment manual.

But, that means it has to be an HD2, or maybe an HD3. Is that what you're running now?...your tag says you have a 4....which I'm pretty
sure will NOT work. Not so much because of the bearing interface...I can figure that out...but, because the rails are completely
unsupported :( which means that reinforcing the gantry plate won't do a thing to help the head-dive. Do you find those big gantry
rails flex an are part of the problem? If they're not, then the bearing mounts are pretty easy to accomplish, an modify my design to suit.

Clearly I need to figure out how to "fix" that version too ;-). I'll be meeting up with a guy who has a 4 we're looking to improve, the
first week of February. So, maybe in a month or so there will be a model capable of helping your situation. The HDPE drove me nuts too.

Regards,

Rando

...all that said, I'm seeing no more takers, so I'm going to move on to the next project(s) very soon.

Yes, people: if you want one of these, you need to act now. After Feb, I won't even take orders
for them anymore. There will be no web site you will find them at, they won't be on Amazon or
eBay or any other place. As of 21 Jan 2021, I have most of the parts and materials for two more.

If you want one, now is the time. You snooze, you lose.
Going, going, ......
