I need to make a base to hold my CNC Shark Pro Plus. I would like to see what some of you have made for the Pro and Plus. Right now I have my Router setting on an office desk I have in my shop. Please share your ideas with some of us that have not made a base for our new machines. I like the idea of the enclosed top to control dust but no one seems to display their base except Hans.
Thanks in advance
Bob

Re: A Base for CNC Shark Pro Plus
Bob,
I mounted mine on a mobile cart. The Shark sits on one side of the top, my laptop sits on the other side behind a plywood panel that keeps the chips and such off the laptop.
Below is a shelf for the power supply, control box, and drawers for storing the bits, wrenches, scrap and such.
Not a great photo.

I too set mine on a cart with an MDF top. Power and control box below, shelf for bits and clamps etc. Control cord leads to a separate shelf with the lap top on it. This alows me to roll around in the garage.

Mine is a combo set-up, cart for the Shark and a Laptop Cart for the 'puter.
