Has anyone a good file for making a vacuum boot for a shark 4 HD?
Or did it exist somewhere?
Thanks

Re: Shark 4 vacuum boot template
I would give you mine but it is designed to fit my router and a 4 inch vacuum hose.
V-Carve can do it in a blink. Probably take less time to do it on V-Carve than wait for a posting.
It is just 2 circles where one is the size of your router base, the other is the size of your vacuum hose connector. Most include a way to tighten the boot to your router base and that is creative sometimes.
It doesn’t have to be two pieces but does help.
Here are some Youtubes you can check out. I like the first one best., it is simple and cheap (just my opinion).

Re: Shark 4 vacuum boot template
Thanks Bill
This is most helpful indeed! I was trying to attach on the router and that router support and having trouble making pockets for all these screws. Also interesting to see the difference between the router, that I have, and the spindles. The router blows a ton of air on the piece, so the dust doesn't accumulate on the piece but it's blown everywhere. I also like the plastic so you can still see through.
Thanks so much!
