Looking for 91 degree bit
I am looking for a 91 degree bit with a 1/4" shank but can't seem to find one. Amana comes up most often on search but they only go down to a 1/2 " shank. Anyone have any idea if there is one that is being made?

Re: Looking for 91 degree bit
Obviously you want to do some miterfolding. I have been miterfolding with full sized CNCs for several years. No one makes a 91 degree bit in a 1/4" shank, nor should they. The 1/4" shank is too flexible to maintain the precision needed for miterfolding. A head large enough to miterfols more than a quarter inch thick would be larger than is preferable to use with a 1/4" shank.
If you really have to have one, you may be able to have one custom made, but it won't be cheap.

I was afraid that was what I was going to hear. I had really wanted to try some miter folding

Try it with a 90 degree bit. Not sure why it wouldn't work.

Reading on it, some say a 90 will but others say you need just that little extra for room for the glue. Seems like I have no choice but to try a 90 now. If it works it will make for some interesting projects
