On the shark control panel itself you do have inches selected right?
If that's not it then you need to get a hold of Al Wolford or Tim Owens about a control box.
I don't think there are jumpers in the newer controllers.

Maybe Al or Tim have a way to reprogram the counts per inch on the controller without sending it in.
Not a good way to start off a new $4k investment.
